Mission/Vision

My Mission Statement

Abiding in God’s love, Jim Olsen will be engaged & active, as a (1) serving christian, (2) loving family man, (3) nurturing teacher, (4) contributing scholar, and  (5) competing athlete, mutually respecting, affirming, & serving others to empower others.

I am blessed to be a blessing.

I will be authentic, responsible, and serve.

I Believe

Happiness is the building up
of vital relationships
based on faith and family

1. Christian: facets: A.make disciples for Jesus Christ. B. Serve. C. Be a Servant Leader. D.Education of me and others. E.Work to be a good steward.

My goal for my life is to believe, through worship, belong, through fellowship, and become, through discipleship, service, and evangelism.

5 M’s: I desire to be (5 M’s) a Magnifier (of God’s glory and power), Member (of the church, a community of believers), Model (of a life Christ would have us lead), Minister (meeting the needs of other people), and Missionary (going into all the world and making disciples of Jesus Christ).  This is a summary of Rick Warren’s Purpose-Driven Life book.
